The little things, from the custom door handles to the texture of the wall paper, these are what set a space apart. Our hotelier clients labor over these design details and in turn, we capture them in a way that draws out the unique character of the location - delivering eye catching, textural photographs that could be a still-life in their own right. We explore unique angles and apply a trained eye to finding those striking visual moments.
it’s about depth
There is architectural depth in the way that light naturally moves through a space. When typical commercial photographers come in with artificial lighting and blow out the shadows in a room to create a fake and glossy image they rob a space of its sculptural elements and visual interest. In contrast, we carefully retain and incorporate natural light with honed technique that preserves mood and ambiance.
it’s about scale
Ultra wide angle imagery and drone imagery do not mimic the way that the naked eye experiences a space. Studies show that people are more immersed in images that are taken in a relatable perspective, in a point of view similar to the way that they would discover a space themselves. For this reason we focuses primarily on creating beautiful images on a human scale that invite the viewer into the space through the artist’s eye.
