This shoot will be oriented around capturing strong still photography however we will also create a 30 second “movement” video. This is an opportunity for a model to standout in a dynamic way and showcase some personality. This video will be shot and provided vertically in TikTok/Reel proportions.

Hair and Makeup on set: To develop professional book, models need to shoot looks with pro MuaH artists. This quality is apparent in industry standard images and it is essential regardless of how talented the model or skilled the photographer.

Shoot with Creative Director and Photographer Lane Oliveri: Working with a diversity of creatives will help models to develop and explore poses as well as strengthen their comfort with the artist/model communication process.

Models shoot several different looks, with several creative variations. Models revolve in and out of hair and makeup and wardrobe with several other models in a small group development session. Gain experience posing both solo and with other models.

Models will need to bring their own wardrobe but they will receive assistance selecting items to bring, there will be styling direction on set as well as additional wardrobe to round out looks and ensure there are options that are suitably photographable.

As an artist in the fashion Industry, I work with many young people that are very talented and just starting out in their career. Far too many of them have uncomfortable stories about experiences in the industry. Often development options are only promoted to models when they line the pockets of sub-par agencies and test shoots can be hit or miss in quality (and creepiness). Then there’s the “its who you know” barrier to shooting with good photographers. In NYC it’s always all about connections.
